Future Chefs is a high impact school to career program that connects motivated, talented high school students with opportunities for work and education in the culinary arts field. We work with culinary schools and food professionals to provide mentoring, education and professional networks that students need to succeed in our industry.

East Boston, MA
As you walk in the door at you’ll hear our sound……a Hip-Hop band rehearsing, a young student practicing piano scales, or a group of teens swapping stories about their lives as they prepare to write their first songs. Zumix is a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to building community through music and the arts. Located in East Boston, MA, ZUMIX provides top-quality cultural programming as an alternative way for young people to deal with frustration, anger and fear, and as a method of building cultural understanding and acceptance in one of Boston’s most diverse neighborhoods.
